12 WEEKS OF CHRISTMAS
As sweater-weather rolls around thanks to autumn and it’s crisp and blustery afternoons, it’s impossible not to pull out some squishy yarn and work up a few seasonal knits and cozy crochet-wear! If you haven’t heard by now, Lion Brand is hosting their annual 12 Weeks of Christmas campaign again, and I’m so incredibly excited (and fortunate) to be able to participate this year with my Meara Fisherman Sweater!

Sweater
Block the finished body of sweater to correct height/width. Place the “Front of Sweater” on top of the “Back of Sweater”, flip the layout inside out, and join the two panels together by seaming 14.5”/37cm [16”/41cm, 15.5”/39cm] of the sides closed, working from the bottom to the top. The remaining openings are the armholes.
Seam the shoulders together (Row 77), working into all 22 [26,28] sts the on the right-side shoulder, and all 22 [26,28] sts the on the left-side shoulder. The remaining opening is the neckline.
Fasten off, and weave in loose ends.
Sleeves
Flip each sleeve inside out and seam the sleeves along the ends of the rows, all along the underarm. Seam both sleeves onto the sweater, where the armholes are. Flip your completed sweater right side out.

+ RIBBED NECKLINE
Attach yarn at the nap of the neckline, of the “Back of Sweater”.

Row 3 – 17 [22,27]: Repeat row 2.
Fasten off, and weave in loose ends.
Seam the cuff together (row 1 and row 17 [22,27]). Repeat on both sleeves.
