Crochet a cute dragon with this free amigurumi pattern! This amigurumi dragon and gift box is easy to make since it has a step-by-step crochet pattern with photos. The dragon can sit alone with support on the tail. When crocheting from the recommended yarn, the toy turns out to be 14 cm (5.5″).

Flower for the gift box
With white yarn:
Make 12 ch. From the 2nd ch from hook: inc in every stitch to the end of row (22)
Form the flower shape and sew it on the top of the gift box.
Using a sewing thread that matches the gift box color, sew beads with numbers on the gift box.
Assembly
Sew the legs to the body in the last row (R 40), the arms on the sides of the body between R 22 and R 27 as shown in the photo.
Sew the gift box to the arms.
Sew the muzzle to the head between R 15 and R 19.
Sew the eye whites above the muzzle and glue plastic eyes on them.
Using a black sewing thread (in two thread), embroider eyebrows and a mouth.
Sew the ears on the sides of the head between R 7 and R 8.
Sew the tail to the back of the body between R 28 and R 33, the bow to the end of the tail.
Spikes
With additional color yarn:
Attach the additional color yarn to the top (at the level of the forehead) and crochet 1 sc in every st on the head and back.
Turn and work: (skip 1 st, 5 dc in one st, skip 1 st, sl st)* repeat to the end of the row.
Sew the wings on the back between R 22 and R 23.
Sew the hat on the side.
