Hello, my lovely sunflower! Today, I have a fabulous, lacy knitted shawl pattern that I’m so excited to share with you! Plus, our gorgeous, scrumptiously soft Sugar Fluff Fingering yarn returns! Keep reading to learn all the details!
Chrysalis was designed by Kayla Baldwin. When asked about the inspiration for her design, Kayla said, “Inspired by the beautifully complex butterfly life cycle, don’t let this shawl fool you! Using five stitches only – knit, purl, yo, k3tog, and sk2p – you can create this with minimal effort. As you knit, you’ll be captivated by the way the simple stitches combine to form a unique, intricate pattern, and with a purl row every other row, Chrysalis is a breeze to knit. Like the chrysalis itself, this shawl symbolizes growth and change and is a beautiful reflection of your own knitting journey.”
This Adventurous Beginner level pattern is for knitters who are ready to learn some new skills or stitch combinations. Stitches include lacework and decreases using k3tog and sk2p.
Chrysalis is knitted with our incredibly soft Limited Edition Sugar Fluff Fingering yarn, which is very fluffy and absolutely divine!
