Hello, beautiful one! Today, I have a lovely, knitted cowl pattern to share with you! If youβre someone who takes solace from time spent in nature, then this delightful cowl is made for you! I hope youβll keep reading to learn all about it.
Dendrophile was designed by Pam Meek. When asked about this pattern, Pam said, βA dendrophile is a person who loves trees. They often have a deep appreciation and connection with trees and forests. I know that I find solace and inspiration and feel rejuvenated when I am walking through the trees and forested areas nearby. Knitted using a simple lace motif of a tree, I hope that this cowl keeps you warm and cozy when you are out enjoying nature, too.β
This Adventurous Beginner level pattern is for knitters who are ready to learn some new skills or stitch combinations. Skills include basic lace, working in the round, and holding yarn double.
Dendrophile is knitted with our luscious Creative Fingering yarn. Creative FingeringΒ is a luxurious blend of 70% Superwash Merino, 20% Baby Alpaca, and 10% Mulberry Silk that is so soft, smooth, and drapey! It practically glows! With a generous 508 yds/465 m per skein, itβs perfect for creating elegant, next-to-skin accessories and garments.
We used one skein of our Serenity Creative Fingering yarn for the sample shown here, and it used approximately 384 yds / 351 m total. The yarn was held double throughout.
The pattern includes written and charted instructions.
