CROCHET DUFFLE BAG POUCH
You really can’t have enough pouches. They are so handy, perfect for carrying all the little useful things. As a crocheter, I tend to not use the basic pouch my hooks come with and I opt to use a larger one that I can pack with extra tools.
I had this idea many, many years ago to make a pouch that looks like a retro duffle bag. I thought it would be cute, but also, mini items that look like larger items are always so cute!

ABOUT THIS PATTERN
This cute crochet duffle bag pouch is a great project for advanced beginners, who feel comfortable working sc and slip stitches. It includes basic stitches, simple shapes, and easy seaming and sewing.
Yes there is a zipper! Even adding the zipper is straightforward, so don’t let it scare you! The pattern includes photos to help you as you go, and you don’t need a sewing machine.
I definitely recommend using cotton, as cotton yarn has very little stretch and it’s ideal for smaller bags, but any worsted yarn will do.
And although the gauge on this project is not specific, you want to make your stitches as tights as you can to prevent any holes between the stitches. This ensures that you can keep smaller things safely secure in your pouch.

- 2 100G Balls Worsted Weight Cotton Yarn + Extra small amount for the handles (WeCrochet Dishie in Colonial Rose, Swan, Verdigris)
