Like decorating a cake but with yarn and crochet, this Study of Puffed Dessert Blanket is a 2-row repeat. Strategized with having six rows for each colour before changing, its soft pastel cake-like piped frosting is a stitcher’s delight.

This was designed at the same time of the Crochet Study of Snow Blanket. Let the lighting be the factor to showcase the texture and ease of doing this square design. You will see in the article that there is another sample in regular 4 ply #4 worsted weight yarn for comparison. You can make this as big as you need to.
