You will need:
YarnArt Jeans yarn (55% cotton, 45% acrylic)
2.0-2.5 mm crochet hook
8 mm safety eyes
Orange embroidery floss or yarn for beak
Pink dry pastel crayon for cheeks and ears
Sewing needle and scissors
Fiberfill

Abbreviations
R – row
ch – chain
sl st – slip stitch
sc – single crochet
inc – increase (2 sc in one stitch)

dec – decrease (2 sc together)
dc – double crochet
hdc – half double crochet
[…] – number of stitches you should have at the end of the row
(…) – repeat whatever is between the brackets the given number of times

EASTER CHICK WITH BUNNY EARS CROCHET FREE PATTERN

Head-body
With yellow yarn:
R 1: 6 sc in magic ring [6]
R 2: (inc) repeat 6 times [12]
R 3: (1 sc, inc) repeat 6 times [18]
R 4: (2 sc, inc) repeat 6 times [24]
R 5: (3 sc, inc) repeat 6 times [30]
R 6: (1 sc, inc, 3 sc) repeat 6 times [36]

R 7-19: 36 sc (13 rows)
R 20: (4 sc, dec) repeat 6 times [30]
R 21: (1 sc, dec, 2 sc) repeat 6 times [24]
Insert safety eyes between R 14 and R 15 at the distance of 6 sc from each other.
R 22: (2 sc, dec) repeat 6 times [18]
R 23: (1 sc, dec) repeat 6 times [12]

Fasten off.

Wings (make 2)
With yellow yarn:

Assembly
Embroider a nose with orange yarn.
Sew wings to the body.
Sew ears on the head.
Sew egg shell to the body.
Tint ears and cheeks using dry pastel crayon.

Fasten off.

Carrot leaves (make 5-6)
Join green yarn on the top.
Make 10 ch. From the 2nd ch from hook: 9 sc, sl st on the carrot top.
