Hello, my sweet friend! Today, I have a gorgeous knitted sock pattern to share with you. These stunning, cabled socks will make your feet and toes feel totally loved! I hope you’ll keep reading to learn all about them!
The Love Maze socks were designed by Gazal Mohammed. When asked about the inspiration for this design, Gazal said, “Back when me and my husband first got married, I was going through a rough patch. Life felt like a mess, and everything was kinda heavy. But he was right there, supporting me, lifting me up. Together, we made it through all of it, side by side.”
“While I was working on this sock pattern, I realized the cables kinda looked like a maze… and it made me think of that BTS song Love Maze. The lyrics took me straight back to those days. Things have changed since then, sure. But one thing that’s only grown stronger is the love. It’s deeper now… real, steady, and full of meaning.”
“So, as you knit these stitches, I hope you remember a time when you were going through it too and how love, support, and a little bit of faith helped you get to the other side. These socks aren’t just yarn and needles. They’re a little story, one stitch at a time.”
This Intermediate level pattern is for those who feel comfortable with knitting and have made a few projects, using various skills and techniques. Skills/concepts include cables, picking up stitches, working two stitch patterns simultaneously (top/bottom and front/back), short rows, and small-circumference knitting.

The Love Maze socks come in three sizes S, M, and L, which correspond to US women’s sizes: 6 – 7.5 (8” / 20.5 cm at cuff); 8 – 9.5 (8.5” / 21.5 cm at cuff), and 10 – 12 (9” / 23 cm at cuff). The sample shown here was knitted with our Scarlet Resilient Sock color. You’ll need one skein of Resilient Sock yarn to knit any of the three sizes of the Love Maze socks.
