Made with Caron Simply Me
Caron Simply Me is one of my favorite newer Bulky yarns! I’ve used it before, when making the Rocky Road Wrap, Mimosa Cowl, Blueberry Twist Headband, and Poppyseed Twist Headband. It’s great accessories, but would also make an amazing blanket.
‘Simply Me is perfect for any project you want to make simply yours! Simply Me is our brand-new Bulky weight yarn, designed to be perfect for allowing the personalization of your home decor and apparel needs. Perfect for beginners and experienced crafters alike, Simply Me will have everyone looking at your latest project thinking, “That’s so you!”‘
It’s a lofty yarn, full of bouce, and a joy to stitch with. With 17 colors to choose from, you can make one to match all your favorite outfits!
Customize Your Cowl for Your Cityscape – or Rural Retreat!
The Windy City Cowl features a close fit to keep you warm and snug no matter the weather. And in addition to the color, you can adjust it for size! Prefer it longer? Just add more rows! You should be able to just about double the length before you need to purchase additional yarn.
As a native midwesterner, I know how windy winter weather can be – heck, any season! And some days a cowl is just more practical because it won’t try to blow off! But if you’d like to make this piece for warmer weather, just switch to a lighter-weight yarn, in something like a cotton. You can add more rows to create something looser and more indoorsy – have fun with it!

How to Carry Yarns Along the Side
NOTES

- If you prefer to avoid using the CSDC stitch, you can instead ch 3 or use your favorite dc substitute.
- Change colors every 2 rows. Carry the yarn colors along the side when not in use, and then cover these floats with the Border.
- To customize the size of this piece, work any even number of stitches for Row 1 and then work to the desired length.
